Built for the people who keep operations running
CanvasPilot exists because building a simple internal tool shouldn't require a developer, a month-long project, or a six-figure contract.

Our story
We started CanvasPilot after watching the same pattern repeat across dozens of small businesses: a workflow gets trapped in a spreadsheet, someone builds a Franken-stack of free tools to patch the gaps, and the team spends more time maintaining the system than doing the actual work.
The problem wasn't a lack of tools. It was that building even a simple internal app—a form connected to data with a few automations—still required code, configuration, or a budget most small teams don't have.
So we built a platform where non-technical operators can import a spreadsheet, define screens and rules, and share a working app with their team in hours. Not weeks. Not with a developer on call. Just you, your data, and a clear path from idea to live tool.
Our mission
Reduce the gap between “I need a tool for this” and “here, use this app.” We believe every operations team deserves software that fits the way they actually work—without waiting for IT, hiring a contractor, or settling for a spreadsheet.
What we stand for
These principles guide every product decision we make.
Make the next step obvious
We present the smallest set of decisions that moves work forward. Fewer choices, faster progress.
Name things the way operators talk
We prefer domain nouns and concrete verbs over platform jargon. If your team calls it a ticket, we call it a ticket.
Default to safe change
Preview impacts and support easy rollback when editing live workflows. No surprises, no data loss.
Progress over perfection
Enable a usable first version quickly, then guide iteration without rework. A shipped app beats a perfect spec.
Expose system state plainly
Show what’s connected, who has access, and what ran—without hunting through menus or logs.
Join the teams building smarter internal tools
Import your first spreadsheet and ship a working app today. No code, no cost to start.
